Everett combines a natural curiosity with a passion for understanding people and cultures to create meaningful stories.
Everett strongly believes in experimentation. Trying and failing are essential to success and in some cases, lead to magical moments.
Rather than seeing what is just ahead, he takes in a situation by looking up, down, and in all directions in search of the best shot. His passion is looking for patterns in what others would consider commonplace. Often, he takes note of geometric shapes buried in architecture or images reflected in puddles.
Everett’s exploration from different perspectives results in photographs that are both graphical and familiar, bold and soothing.
He shoots a variety of subject matter and strives to showcase his work in a way that unifies seemingly disparate images.
Background:
Everett was not born into the arts; his proud Greek parents encouraged math and science.
His passion for photography came much later in his adult life. He started taking photos on a trip to San Diego and instantly fell in love with the art of photography. From that point on, he has been hooked and takes photos anywhere and everywhere.
Today, more than ever, Everett is drawn to creative people and enjoys the mutual exchange of ideas and passion.
